02

We match you

To a registered educator near you with availability.

03

Visit the educator's home before committing to anything.

04

A gradual settling-in plan so your child eases in comfortably.

Why Choose a Scheme

The warmth of home care, with a service behind it

Unlike a private nanny arrangement, every Barakat educator is registered, insured, and regularly assessed. Unlike a large centre, your child is one of a handful, not one of thirty.

Small group ratios

Known by name, in a familiar home setting.

NQS assessed

Coordinator-verified, not self-declared.

Insured & compliant

Working With Children Checks, insurance, and safety audits on file.

Coordinator support

A named contact if anything ever needs resolving.

FAQs

Common questions from families

Your child is cared for in a real home, in a small group of usually 4–7 children, by one consistent educator — rather than rotating staff across a larger centre.

Yes — every educator holds (or is working towards) an approved early childhood qualification, current Working With Children Check, First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis training, and is assessed against the National Quality Standard.

Fees vary by educator and care type. Child Care Subsidy (CCS) applies to approved family day care. Enquire and we'll send you fee details for educators matched to your needs.

As early as possible — popular educators and time slots fill up, especially for places starting at the beginning of a term.
